IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers was seen leaving from Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) after a meeting.

IndiGo crisis: Amid the ongoing Indigo crisis, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has suspended four Flight Operations Inspectors, who were responsible for overseeing airline safety and operational compliance, news agency PTI reported on Friday, citing sources.

Yesterday, in a separate development, Indigo Airlines, acknowledging the inconvenience faced by passengers, announced that it will offer travel vouchers worth rupees 10,000 to affected passengers who remained stranded for hours at various airports across the country on December 3, 4, and 5 due to severe congestion and operational disruption. The travel vouchers, it said, can be used for any future Indigo flight for the next 12 months.
