Madhya Pradesh Rape Case With Army Officers Female Friend Latest News: A picnic outing in Madhya Pradesh's Indore district turned horrific when two Indian Army officers were assaulted, and one of their female friends was raped by a group of unidentified men. The incident has shocked the region, with authorities launching an extensive manhunt to apprehend the perpetrators.
According to reports from PTI and police sources, the two army officers, aged 23 and 24, were attending a picnic on Tuesday along with two female friends. The officers, undergoing a Young Officers (YO) course at the Infantry School in Mhow cantonment, were attacked during the outing.
Badgonda police station in-charge, Lokendra Singh Hirore, revealed that the assailants held one of the women and her companion at gunpoint inside a vehicle. The second officer and her friend, who were on a nearby hill, heard cries for help and rushed to the scene. They quickly informed their superiors, leading to police being alerted.
Despite the prompt response, the attackers managed to flee before law enforcement arrived. All four victims were taken to Mhow Civil Hospital for medical examination, where doctors confirmed sexual assault on one of the women and noted injuries on the officers' bodies.
Indore Rural Superintendent of Police, Hitika Vasal, confirmed that a case has been registered under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including gangrape, dacoity, extortion, and voluntarily causing hurt, as well as under the Arms Act.
