761 new cases were registered in Kerala

NEW-DELHI: Witnessing a major hike, India recorded 7,830 new cases of coronavirus infection during the last 24 hours. A total of 5,676 cases were reported the previous day i.e. Tuesday. According to the data released by the Health Ministry on Wednesday morning, the number of active Covid patients in the country has reached to 40,215.

According to data, 40,215 people infected with coronavirus are currently being treated in the country, which is 0.9 percent of the total cases. Along with this, a total of 4,42,04,771 have been cured of Covid infection, i.e. the national recovery rate of patients is 98.73 percent. While a total of 5,31,016 people have lost their lives across the country so far due to this pandemic.

According to the data released on the website of the Ministry of Health, 761 new cases were registered in Kerala during the last 24 hours, which is the highest in the country. On the other hand, 538 new cases were reported in Delhi, 221 in Haryana, 216 in Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, while 208 new cases were reported in Maharashtra.
