The death toll in the blast has risen to 12, with three more people succumbing to their injuries
A father of two children was among those who lost their lives in the deadly blast that occurred yesterday evening in a highly congested area near the Red Fort in Delhi, shaking the entire nation.
The deceased has been identified as Mohsin, whose mother, Sajeeda, told news agency ANI that he was the father of two young children and appealed for justice.
Mohsin was an e-rickshaw driver.
His brother said, “We got to know around 1:30–2:00 AM that there had been a blast. When we reached there, we saw his body lying there. We were not allowed to go inside. He has two children. He used to drive an e-rickshaw in that area.”

The death toll in the blast has risen to 12, with three more people succumbing to their injuries, police said on Tuesday, according to a PTI report.
Until last night, nine people had been confirmed dead and 20 others were injured, officials added.
The Delhi Police on Tuesday registered an FIR under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Explosives Act in connection with the explosion.
Raids are being conducted at multiple locations by the Delhi Police. The national capital has been placed on high alert, with strict vigil being maintained at the airport, railway stations, and bus terminals.
