Delhi Police Bolsters Security in Light of Escalating Tensions; Heightened Vigilance at Key Locations

NEW-DELHI: In response to the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas, the Delhi Police has significantly ramped up security measures around the Israeli Embassy and Chabad House in the city. An official confirmed this development on Tuesday, emphasizing the need to ensure the safety and security of these key locations.

Local police personnel, strategically stationed around the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi and the Chabad House at Chandni Chowk in Central Delhi, have been given explicit instructions to maintain a stringent vigil. The increased security measures are intended to safeguard against potential threats and ensure the safety of all individuals associated with these establishments.

Notably, The recent surge in violence saw a sudden and devastating attack on Israel by a Palestinian extremist group, resulting in numerous casualties among Israelis. In response, Israel undertook forceful countermeasures, resulting in casualties and injuries among Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
