PM Modi Pays Tribute to Former Jharkhand CM Shibu Soren Latest News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday personally visited Hemant Soren and his family to pay homage to the late former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Shibu Soren, who passed away earlier today at the age of 81.

Hemant Soren, the current Chief Minister of Jharkhand, is the son of the late Shibu Soren, who served as Chief Minister three times during his political career.

Prime Minister Modi said that Shibu Soren had dedicated his entire life to the welfare of the tribal community, and for that, he would always be remembered.

“Went to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to pay homage to Shri Shibu Soren Ji. Also met his family. My thoughts are with Hemant Ji, Kalpana Ji, and the admirers of Shri Shibu Soren Ji,” PM Modi wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Condolences have poured in from across party lines and well-wishers nationwide, paying tribute to the departed leader and expressing solidarity with his family.
