New Delhi: The corona virus has wreaked havoc around the world, causing a nationwide lockdown. Everyone is taking precautions against this virus and now a strange news has come out.

File PhotoFile PhotoA unique marriage in lockdown has been witnessed in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh when the couple exchange garlands by using sticks.

Due to the lockdown, the marriages are now being performed only in the presence of a limited number of people in which social distances are being taken into full consideration.

PhotoPhotoA similar marriage took place on Saturday in Teki village of Kukshi assembly constituency in Dhar district. The video went viral on social media on the evening of the wedding.

At the Hanuman Temple in the village, Bharti Mandloi followed social distance while marrying veterinary doctor Rajesh Nigam. Jagdish Mandloi, the father of the bride Bharti Mandloi, said, "Before the marriage, we completely sanitized the temple and after that the marriage started." At the same time, the rules of lockdown and social distance were strictly followed during marriage.
