Fatehpur Train Accident latest news: Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh– In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the calm surroundings of Fatehpur were suddenly shattered by a train collision. The incident involved two freight trains, one of which was stationary on the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) track near Pahbiipur. The peace of the morning was disturbed around 8 AM when a speeding goods train crashed into the stationary one, resulting in a destructive impact.

The accident was so intense that the engine and the guard's cabin of the stationary train were thrown off the tracks, creating a scene of  destruction. Miraculously, there were no casualties reported, but both loco-pilots suffered serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention.

According to railway sources, the accident occurred because the moving train didn't get red signal , leading to the unfortunate crash. Senior railway officials promptly arrived at the scene to oversee the relief and rescue operations. The dedicated efforts of the rescue teams were evident as they worked actively to clear the refuse and restore to being normal on the track.
