It was a sunny day in the national capital today, with the minimum temperature settling at 28.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. No rainfall was recorded overnight till 8:30 am. According to the meteorological department, the humidity level was 70 per cent. The weatherman has forecast generally cloudy skies with thundery development later today.

"The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 35 degrees Celsius," an official of the department said. The minimum temperature recorded at observatories were - Ayanagar (26.8C), Lodhi Road (27.2C), Ridge (27.7C) and Palam (27.8C). Yesterday, the minimum temperature was 28.2 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was 35 degrees Celsius.
