The cases of corona virus are on the rise in the country but the relief is that the number of patients recovering is also increasing.

New Delhi: The cases of corona virus are on the rise in the country but the relief is that the number of patients recovering is also increasing. According to the Ministry of Health, the recovery rate of corona in the country has reached 48.07 per cent.

The reason is that the doctors here have allowed a combination of some of the medicines that help the patients to recover faster.

CoronavirusCoronavirusAnother drug may now be approved in India for the treatment of corona patients. The Indian Council of Medical Research has first approved the use of hydroxychloroquine and then approved Remdesivir, a cure for Ebola. The ICMR may now approve another drug.

This medicine is also known as Peramivir. The drug is also approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. It is used to treat swine flu and similar diseases.

PhotoPhotoThis antiviral drug can only be used in an emergency, even under the supervision of a doctor. The drug is manufactured by an American company called BioCryst Pharmaceuticals. Trials of the drug began in 2008 and were recognized internationally in December 2014.

It is a highly effective antiviral drug, most commonly used to prevent H1N1 influenza, or swine flu. There may be some side effects from using this medicine such as diarrhea, elevated serum glucose, insomnia, constipation, stress, rashes, etc. That is why this medicine is given all over the world under the supervision of doctors.
