Sikh Businessman attacked in Rishikesh: Police arrest 3 suspects and search for more latest news: Ranjit Singh registered a complaint at the Rishikesh police station that some people destroy a religious place and uttered abusive remarks. The police arrested Raju and two others on the basis of his complaint, and now they are hunting for three other suspects.

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has strongly condemned the attack and called for swift action from the Chief Minister and the police.

Viral videos depict one of the attackers stripping the turban of a Sikh businessman, which is extremely offensive and derogatory to religious sentiments. The SGPC has asked the police to file charges of hurting religious sentiments in this case.
