Influencer Misha Agrawal Dies by Suicide for loosing social media followers: New Delhi:In a heartbreaking incident, 24-year-old entrepreneur and social media influencer Misha Agrawal, founder of MishCosmetics.in and Mish Hair Oil, tragically died by suicide on April 24, just two days before her 25th birthday.
Misha was not only known for her popular hair care brand but had also amassed a significant following on Instagram, where she inspired thousands through her content. According to her family, Misha had been struggling with depression for several months, particularly since her social media following began to decline.
Her brother-in-law, in a deeply emotional message, revealed how Misha had built her world around Instagram and was devastated when her follower count started to drop. Despite family efforts to reassure her that her self-worth extended far beyond social media, Misha became increasingly withdrawn and anxious.
“She would hug me and cry, saying, ‘Jijja, what will I do if my followers decrease? My career will be over,’” he shared. “We reminded her of her achievements—her LLB degree, her PCSJ preparation, and her entrepreneurial spirit. But she was consumed by fear and online validation.”
Misha was a driven young woman with a dream. She poured her heart into MishCosmetics. Her passing has left her family, friends, and followers devastated.
In an official statement, Team MishCosmetics wrote,"Misha built MishCosmetics.in and Mish Hair Oil with love, passion, and a dream to make a difference. We kindly ask for patience with your orders as we navigate this difficult time. Let us continue her dream and keep her spirit alive—together."
They added that the brand will continue in Misha’s memory, a tribute to her vision and hard work.
