New Delhi, January 1, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended heartfelt New Year wishes to the nation, welcoming 2025 with optimism and hope. Taking to X, PM Modi underscored the importance of embracing new opportunities, personal growth, and collective prosperity in the coming year.

"Happy 2025! May this year bring everyone new opportunities, success, and endless joy. May everybody be blessed with wonderful health and prosperity," PM Modi posted.

President Droupadi Murmu also conveyed her warm New Year greetings. In her message on X, she wished for joy, harmony, and prosperity for all, while urging everyone to work towards a brighter, more inclusive, and sustainable future for both India and the world.

"Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! May the year 2025 bring joy, harmony, and prosperity to all! On this occasion, let us renew our commitment to work together for creating a brighter, more inclusive, and sustainable future for India and the world," President Murmu stated.

Across India, vibrant celebrations marked the arrival of 2025. Cities came alive with parties, cultural events, and dazzling firework displays, reflecting the nation’s enthusiasm for the New Year.

In Delhi, iconic spots like Hauz Khas, Connaught Place, and Lajpat Nagar were bustling with revellers. The Delhi Police ensured safety with pre-arranged security measures.

In Amritsar, thousands gathered at the Golden Temple to seek blessings for the year ahead, while hotels across Punjab hosted special events.

Cities like Bhopal and Lucknow celebrated with music and dancing in the streets, while Mumbai's beaches, including Juhu and Marine Drive, saw large crowds enjoying fireworks.

In the serene hills of Himachal Pradesh, Manali turned into a hub of celebrations with tourists and locals cheering and dancing to welcome 2025.
