The victim has been identified as Neha, a divorcee who ran a beauty parlour at the Mata Darwaza Chowk market.
Rohtak, Haryana: A spine-chilling incident occurred in which a brother allegedly murdered his own sister by slitting her throat in the Mata Darwaza area of Rohtak, Haryana.
The incident occurred at the victim’s parlour at around 10:30 am today, after the two got into an argument. A female employee at the parlour, who tried to intervene, was also injured in the incident.
A police officer told the media that the police were informed about the incident around 11:00 in the morning today.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and took the accused into custody. A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team was also called to the spot, and both teams collected necessary evidence.
The reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. Police said it would be known only after interrogating the accused brother.

The body has been sent to Rohtak PGI for post-mortem examination.
