Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Pays Tribute to Sikh Martyrs at Sri Fatehgarh Sahib


On Thursday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini visited Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. He paid tribute to Sikh martyrs at the historic Gurudwara Sahib, marking his participation in ongoing commemorative events at the sacred site. CM Saini bowed before the holy place and offered his respects to the martyrs whose sacrifice holds deep significance in Sikh history.

The Chief Minister also visited the revered location where the younger Sahibzadas, sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, were bricked alive by Wazir Khan for their refusal to renounce their faith. CM Saini described the martyrdom at Fatehgarh Sahib as unparalleled, emphasising that the courage and sacrifice of the Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri Ji inspire humanity. He said he felt privileged to bow his head at this holy ground and added that the lessons of truth, courage, and sacrifice from this site remain timeless and universal.

While speaking to the media, Saini highlighted the grandeur and significance of Sikh history, noting that the sacrifices commemorated at Fatehgarh Sahib continue to motivate generations. He reiterated the importance of remembering these historic sacrifices to uphold values of faith and resilience.

According to officials, the visit coincided with the three-day annual Shaheedi Sabha at Fatehgarh Sahib, during which pilgrims and dignitaries from across the country gather to pay tribute to Sikh martyrs.
