It added that the university is extending its full cooperation to the concerned investigating authorities.
Prof. (Dr.) Bhupinder Kaur Anand, Vice Chancellor of Al-Falah University, Village Dhauj, Faridabad, Haryana, issued clarifications on Wednesday, saying that no chemical or material, “as is being alleged by certain platforms, is being used, stored, or handled within the University premises.”
“We are deeply saddened and anguished by the unfortunate developments that took place and condemn the same. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the innocent people affected by these distressing events,” the statement read.
“We have also learnt that two of our doctors have been detained by the Investigating Agencies,” it further read.
The university has made it clear in the statement that it has no connection with the arrested individuals “apart from them being working in their official capacities with the University.”
It noted that certain online platforms are circulating baseless and misleading stories allegedly “with the clear intent of maligning the reputation and goodwill of the University.”

“It is hereby clarified that no such chemical or material, as is being alleged by certain platforms, is being used, stored, or handled within the University premises. The University laboratories are used solely and exclusively for the academic and training requirements of MBBS students and other authorized courses. Every laboratory activity is carried out in strict adherence to established safety protocols, statutory norms, and ethical standards mandated by the regulatory authorities,” the statement read.
It urged all “organizations and individuals to act responsibly and verify facts through official channels before making or sharing any statements concerning the University.”

The statement by the vice chancellor said that the university “stands in solidarity with the nation and reaffirms our unwavering commitment to the unity, peace, and security of our country.”
It added that the university is extending its full cooperation to the concerned investigating authorities.
“Further, our students are sincerely engaged in acquiring education, and it is imperative that and every effort should be made to ensure that their education continues in an atmosphere of peace, normalcy and academic discipline on campus,” the statement further read.
According to the statement issued, Al-Falah Group has been managing various institutions since the year 1997, became autonomous in 2009, and became a University in 2014.
Al-Falah, it said, is recognized by the University Grants Commission under section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. Al-Falah Hospital is committed to care and service since 2014. Al-Falah University has been managing its medical college since 2019 and is also one of the Members of the Association of Indian Universities.
“Our University has been conducting various academic and professional courses and has been training undergraduate MBBS students since 2019. The doctors trained and graduated from our institution are presently serving in reputed hospitals, institutions, and organizations across India and abroad, holding responsible and distinguished positions. Further, Post Graduate Medical Courses MD/MS in various subjects commenced in the university in 2023,” the statement read.
