Haryana News: Police on Sunday revealed that in connection with the death of a young man who was found dead in a hospital bathroom due to a drug overdose, the accused drug dealer has been arrested.

Sharing details, Anti-Narcotics Cell in-charge Sub-Inspector Satvinder Singh said that the deceased, Harsh, worked as a driver and was found dead on December 14, 2025 in a bathroom at Ismailabad hospital.

The sub-inspector added that Harsh had come in contact with the accused, Satvinder Singh Sonu (Roopa), a resident of Chammu Kalan village in Kurukshetra district, who is allegedly involved in drug trafficking. On December 14, 2025, after procuring drugs from the accused, Harsh injected himself at the Ismailabad hospital. Due to the consumption of an excessive quantity, his condition deteriorated and he died.

Police further stated that the accused, Satvinder Singh alias Sonu alias Roopa, already has more than half a dozen cases registered against him under the NDPS Act in the district.
