Chandigarh School Bomb threats: A notice has been issued to schools requesting them to maintain calm and avoid creating "unnecessary panic" in case they receive any threatening email or message, and to immediately report such incidents to the police.

The notice added that appropriate action will be taken as per established protocol once the matter is reported. It also asked school authorities not to declare school holidays without verification upon receiving threats.

All schools have been instructed to remain vigilant while continuing regular academic operations.

The notice comes after several schools in Chandigarh, including DPS, received bomb threats on Wednesday morning, following which the schools were evacuated immediately.
