Meteorologists Forecast Cloudy Skies and Refreshing Showers to Ease Chandigarh's Scorching Summer

Chandigarh Weather Update Rainfall Prediction Amidst Heatwave Alert: Chandigarh is set to receive some respite from the prolonged heat wave as light rain and cloudy conditions are expected from Tuesday evening onward.

The Meteorological Department forecasts a temporary relief from the scorching temperatures, which have surged to over 44 degrees Celsius, significantly above the usual by nearly 8 degrees Celsius.

Yesterday, the mercury soared to 44.5 degrees Celsius, marking a deviation of 7.9 degrees Celsius from the average. However, Wednesday promises a slight reduction in the intense heat, with some areas likely to witness overcast skies and occasional light showers.

Notably, the tricity has been suffering from the severe heatwave which is also leading to a situation where the people are facing several electricity cuts.
