UT administrator to inaugurate the festival at 10.45am on Feb 17

Chandigarh International Puppet Festival 2024: Chandigarh is all set to host the 11th International Puppet Festival this year where wonderful stories will be depicted by the artists from around the world through the beautiful art of puppetry. 

The department of cultural affairs will hold the 11th edition of the International Puppet Festival in collaboration with Tagore Theatre Society from Feb 17 to 21 at Tagore Theatre. The UT administrator will inaugurate the festival at 10.45am on Feb 17.

The 5-day festival will witness captivating puppetry performances by artists from Russia on Feb 17, France on Feb 18, Brazil on Feb 19, USA on Feb 20, and Sri Lanka on Feb 21. Two different shows for children and public will also be showcased at 10:30 AM and 6:30 PM daily, respectively.

The festival will also be featuring a live demonstration of puppet making and the best part about this 5-day long festival is that the entry ticket for all the days is free for everyone.
