A tree plantation drive was organized by Pallavi Luthra Kapoor from One Tree Each, in collaboration with the CRPF, SSP (second in command) Mr. Parminder Singh Nijjar, and NGO Evokarmik Foundation, supported by media channel Rozana Spokesman, on the occasion of Independence Day 2024.

Over 20 varieties of trees were planted, creating a varied mix of flowering trees, fruit trees, and herbal trees to have a balanced mix, to make space for nature and an ecosystem to flourish.
The trees were planted with a vision of a full-year care plan. These trees will be nurtured from time to time to make sure they survive and thrive.
