Out of the total of 127.32 LMT of wheat procurement from the grain markets across the State, up to May 28, the Government Agencies have purchased 126.74 LMT while the private traders have purchased 58002 MT, informed an official spokesman of the government of Punjab. He added that more than 126.25 LMT of the wheat purchased by the government agencies has been lifted from the mandis.
FCI has purchased 15.25 LMT of the wheat sold in the mandis

Amongst the State procuring agencies, PUNGRAIN has purchased 29.46 LMT, MARKFED 27.74 LMT, PUNSUP 24.44 LMT, PSWC 17.18 LMT and Punjab Agro 12.65 LMT. Similarly, FCI has purchased 15.25 LMT of the wheat sold in the mandis of the State.
