iPhone 16 Pro Price Leaked Just Hours Ahead of Apple Event 2024: While the Apple Event 2024 is set to be held on Monday, a new piece of information about the iPhone 16 Pro's pricing has surfaced on the Internet. As per Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple may keep the starting price of the iPhone 16 Pro at $999, contrary to earlier rumors of a price hike for the base Pro model.

Gurman also hinted at some significant upgrades in the iPhone 16 Pro lineup, such as slimmer bezels, improved battery life, and the addition of a touch-sensitive camera button on all models. The new A18 chip, powering the entire iPhone 16 series, is expected to enhance AI capabilities significantly.

However, a previous leak from Apple Hub suggested that the Pro models could see a price increase, with the iPhone 16 Pro potentially starting at $1,099 (roughly Rs 92,300) for the 256GB version. The iPhone 16 Pro Max might be priced at $1,199 (approximately Rs 1,00,700).

In the U.S., the base iPhone 16 is expected to start at $799 (around Rs 67,100), and the iPhone 16 Plus could be priced at $899 (around Rs 75,500). However, due to import duties and taxes, Indian consumers may face higher prices.

To compare, the iPhone 15 series in India launched with the iPhone 15 Pro priced at Rs 1,34,900, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max started at Rs 1,59,900. If the leaks hold true, the iPhone 16 Pro could carry a similar price tag in India, around Rs 1,34,900, though the Pro Max price might see an increase.
