Special counter to be set for Punjabis at Delhi's IGI Airport: In a major development, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday gave a huge gift to the people of Punjab as he inaugurated a special counter for Punjabis at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The Punjab Government has started a Facilitation Center at Delhi Airport, located at IGI Airport Terminal-3, New Delhi.
Reportedly, an agreement was signed between the Punjab Government and GMR, New Delhi on June 12, 2024, for two years. This facilitation center aims to provide all possible help to NRIs and other passengers at the international airport.
This center will have 2 Innova cars which will be available to help the passengers in local movement at Punjab Bhawan and other nearby places.
The passengers can seek help for relatives' flights, connecting flights, taxi services, lost luggage facilities, and any other assistance, required at the airport.
In case of emergency, based on availability, some rooms in Punjab Bhawan, Delhi will be made available for travelers or their relatives.
Help Centre number (011-61232182) has also been issued which can be used by travellers to get assistance at any time.
