Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) Vinay Kumar on Tuesday said that police across the state have been put on alert following the car blast incident near the Red Fort in the national capital, Delhi.
Speaking to news agency ANI, DGP Vinay Kumar said, “The police are on alert following the incident that occurred in Delhi yesterday, to ensure that no such incident happens in Bihar.”

The DGP added that the international border along Bihar has been sealed for the past 72 hours in view of the ongoing elections.
Three types of forces, the SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal), the state police force, and APF (Armed Police Force of Nepal), are conducting joint patrolling along the international border.
Similarly, joint patrolling along the interstate borders is also being carried out, the DGP said.
The second phase of the Bihar assembly election is currently underway in various districts.
Meanwhile, the death toll in the deadly car blast near the Red Fort in Delhi rose to 12, with three more people succumbing to their injuries. Two of the victims are from Uttar Pradesh.
