Gen Z of Bihar Will Not Let Vote Theft Happen”: Rahul Gandhi Alleges PM, HM Behind Years of Vote Chori

He further alleged that the ruling party is attempting to use the same method to influence the Bihar Assembly elections.

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a rally in Bhagalpur, Bihar on Friday, expressed hope in the state’s Gen Z voters, saying that the younger generation will not allow alleged vote theft in Bihar.

He made the remarks while criticizing the ruling NDA government, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and the Election Commission of India, accusing them of allegedly manipulating elections in Haryana.

“There are 2 crore voters in Haryana, and more than 25 lakh names on the voter list were fake. That means one out of every eight voters on the ECI’s list was fake. People from the BJP, who live and vote in Uttar Pradesh, also voted in the Haryana elections. I guarantee you that PM Modi, HM Amit Shah, and the Election Commission have together stolen the Haryana election,” Rahul Gandhi said.

He further alleged that the ruling party is attempting to use the same method to influence the Bihar Assembly elections.

““We said it with evidence that they committed theft in the Lok Sabha, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and now they are trying to win Bihar's election by stealing. Lakhs of congress’ voters have been deleted from the voter list…We do not get the voter list till the last moment... The Gen Z of Bihar will not let vote theft happen here...” Rahul Gandhi added.

He also accused the Prime Minister of allegedly manipulating votes over the years.

The Bihar Assembly Election 2025 is being held in two phases. In the first phase, yesterday, elections were conducted in 121 constituencies across 18 districts. The second phase is scheduled for 11 November, with counting taking place on 14 November. All parties are campaigning vigorously for the second phase.
