Nitin Nabin on Punaura Dham, Ram-Janaki Route, Bihar, Latest News
According to a statement by Bihar’s Road Construction Minister and BJP MLA from Bankipur, Shri Nitin Nabin, the NDA government is making efforts to elevate Bihar to new heights of development.
Union Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah, is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the grand temple of Mata Sita in Sitamarhi district on 08 August 2025.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also be present at the stone-laying event, along with several central and state cabinet ministers, prominent dignitaries, and thousands of devotees.
A new railway facility for the Sitamarhi district has also been approved by the Union Railway Minister, on an initiative of the Central Government.
The initiative is expected to enhance connectivity for residents and also expected to give a significant boost to religious tourism in Bihar.
After Ayodhya, Punaura Dham is set to become a major religious tourism destination, and the Ram-Janaki route is set to further boost development in Bihar.
Shri Nitin Nabin emphasized that the NDA government is consistently working toward the holistic development of Bihar. From New Delhi to Patna, comprehensive plans are reportedly being implemented to ensure the people of Bihar directly benefit from government initiatives.
Shri Nitin Nabin added that, in contrast, the opposition parties appear to be completely rattled. He alleged that the parties neither care about the people of Bihar nor show any interest in the ongoing development projects across the state. “Their frustration clearly reflects their discomfort with Bihar's rapid pace of growth under NDA leadership.”
With the foundation of the temple and the commencement of the new railway service, Sitamarhi is poised to become a key religious and cultural center, expected to contribute to the state’s economy.
