Bihar News: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar unveiled a statue of late Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Kumar Modi, on his birth anniversary, on Monday Morning.

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad called that “very historic. “He was a great leader. His statue has been unveiled... We pay tribute to him,” Prasad told news agency ANI.

Bihar Minister Ram Kripal Yadav told ANI that Sushil Kumar Modi was a former Deputy Chief Minister and had the opportunity to represent the party in the Legislative Assembly, Legislative Council, and several other positions.

“He is no longer with us... His statue has also been unveiled, and we are grateful to the Bihar government for installing Sushil Modi's statue,” Yadav added.
