Gokulpuri Metro Station News: In a shocking incident, the boundary wall around Gokulpuri Metro Station was collapsed, resulting in the loss of one person's life. This is truly heartbreaking news. In the meanwhile, the authorities have been investigating the cause of the wall collapse. The incident underscores the importance of ensuring the safety and integrity of public infrastructure. People have been shocked and praying for the affected family. 

On the other hand, the efforts are underway to prevent such unfortunate events in the future. According to a statement by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), two DMRC officials a manager and a junior engineer in the Civil Department have been suspended with pending enquiry.

The DMRC will also provide compensation of Rs 50,000 for those with minor injuries, Rs 2.5 lakh for grievous injury and Rs 15 lakh for the kin of the deceased.

The Gokulpuri metro station, which falls on the Pink Line, has been temporarily closed. The train services from Maujpur to Shiv Vihar are being run on single line. Train services on the rest of the Pink Line are running normally, the DMRC said.
