Facebook and Instagram users rushed to X to express their views.

Facebook and Instagram Down News Today: Prominent social apps Facebook and Instagram witnessed a technical snag on Tuesday causing panic among the people who have been using the application for a long time. People were wondering why the Facebook and Instagram apps were not working. Meanwhile, people took to X, formerly known as 'Twitter', to express their disappointment after 'Facebook and Instagram' went down and the news hit the headlines to know why these apps were not working.  

According to DownDetector, over 22,195 Facebook users have been affected while over 5000 users were affected on Instagram.   

One of the users wrote, "Facebook and Instagram are not working." One another wrote: "Facebook and Instagram, What Happened?"  

"Anyone else freaks out and thinks they were being hacked?" wrote another. One more user wrote: "Facebook and Instagram users flocking to X to check if these websites are down."

"Me after checking on Twitter that Meta is just down and I'm not hacked since my Instagram isn’t loading and my Facebook got session logged out," said one another.  "The social media platforms Instagram and Facebook, both owned by Meta, are currently experiencing an outage. If you are having trouble logging in, there is no need to panic, you didn't get hacked (I panicked too)," one more user commented.
