AAP councillors engaged in a verbal dispute with the police on Monday when they were prevented from entering the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation office. This incident occurred on the second day of the party's protest against the BJP, alleging "rigging" in the recent mayoral polls. The clash between AAP members and law enforcement adds to the ongoing tension and protest, as the party continues to voice its concerns regarding the fairness of the electoral process in Chandigarh.

Five Aam Adami Party workers, including a councillor, who sat on a hunger strike outside the municipal corporation office were also removed by the police. The police later detained the protesters who had gathered at the site.

AAP councillors, headed by Sunny Ahluwalia, the party's Chandigarh co-incharge, raised slogans against the BJP, demanding action against the presiding officer for alleged ballot paper tampering in the mayoral polls. When they attempted to enter the municipal corporation office, police personnel deployed on-site prevented their entry, leading to a verbal dispute.
