PRICE OF NATURAL GAS ROSE BY 62%

The central government on Thursday hiked natural gas prices by 62 percent in another blow to the common man.

New Delhi: In another blow to the common man, the Union government on Thursday hiked natural gas prices by 62 percent. Natural gas is used to fertilize, generate electricity and convert vehicle fuel into CNG.

THE PRICE OF NATURAL GAS ROSE BY 62%

According to the official order, the price of natural gas produced from areas allotted to state-owned companies such as Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) on a nominal basis will be 90 2.90 per million units for the next six months from October 1.
