Virbhadra under fire for remarks on rape case

One of the supporters of Virbhadra Singh Chief Parliamentary Secretary Neeraj Bharti expressed displeasure over the CM’s statement on his Facebook post today.

“I am not satisfied with government officials and the Chief Minister’s stand on the Kotkhai rape and murder case,” said Bharti. The post went viral among bureaucrats, politicians and various other circles. Bharti had earlier also evoked controversies through his Facebook posts, but it is for the first time that he has criticised the CM. Senior Congress leader GS Bali, while talking to mediapersons, said the incident had brought a bad name to the state and every section of society should act responsibly.
