Luckily, Maya (17) got hold of a pipe in the canal and was saved by passersby.

Deepak was annoyed as Maya had left her elderly husband and wanted to live with another person.

According to the police, Maya’s family had married her to an old man at Rampura Dillon village of the district while she was a minor. She could not pull on with her husband and was living in her parental house at Ludesar village in Sirsa.
