"I will never do it (the show). I will never turn back and look at things. After 'Bhabi Ji...' I did not do anything on television. It is not that I was banned. I have always fought for my rights. I had two offers but I refused because I did not want to take them up," Shilpa said in an interview before entering the 'Bigg Boss' house.

The actor said she was offered the last season of the reality TV show but refused as she was not ready for it at that time. "On television, it is essential to break the stereotype of the character that one plays for years. I wanted to come out of 'Bhabi Ji...' I was offered Kapil Sharma's show again but I chose not to do it. I wanted to do a big show and I feel 'Bigg Boss' is perfect for me to make a comeback."

Shilpa said she was up for all the tasks given to her in the show - be it cooking, washing clothes or cleaning. "There is a misconception that an actor behaves like a celebrity at home, it's wrong to say that. I don't think it is difficult to do household chores, especially for those who are used to doing them (in real life)." PTI
