He was later admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali, where he underwent treatment for 12 days. Unfortunately, he could not recover and passed away on the 12th day, saying goodbye to this mortal world at the young age of 35. His demise plunged the entire Punjabi music industry and his fans into deep grief.
