Singer Rajvir Jawanda Succumbs to Multiple Organ Failure at 35: Fortis Hospital, Mohali Latest: Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda passed away at 10:55 AM on October 8, 2025, at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, Punjab. The late singer had been admitted on September 27, 2025, in extremely critical condition following a road accident that caused severe spinal injuries and brain damage.
Despite extensive medical support and continuous monitoring by the Critical Care and Neurosurgery teams, he succumbed to multiple organ failure this morning, Fortis Hospital confirmed in a statement today.
The hospital authorities expressed their deepest condolences to his family and fans.

The singer had met with an accident in Himachal Pradesh when his bike collided with stray cattle on the road, leaving him critically injured. He also suffered a heart attack at a local hospital following the accident, before being shifted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali.
He is survived by his wife and a child. The Punjabi entertainment industry mourns the loss of the beloved singer.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expressed his thoughts in a post on X, saying, "It is deeply saddening to hear of the death of renowned Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda during treatment following a horrific road accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. A legend of the Punjabi music world has been lost forever."
"Rajveer Jawanda, who captured the hearts of people at a young age through his songs, will always resonate. May Waheguru grant his departed soul peace and give strength to his family and fans to bear this loss," he added.
Following the accident, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had visited the hospital to check on his health and well-being. Celebrities from the industry and other politicians also met the family.
