Farmer Leader Rakesh Tikait Visits Singer Rajvir Jawanda At Fortis Hospital, Mohali Punjab Latest:  Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait visited Fortis Hospital on Sunday morning to check on the health and well-being of Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda, who continues to remain in critical condition at Fortis Hospital in Mohali.

According to a report by The Hindustan Times, hospital authorities stated that there is minimal brain activity and no significant improvement in his condition despite advanced medical treatment.

The report further said that MRI scans of the brain have shown hypoxic changes—damage that occurs in tissues and organs due to a lack of oxygen—while MRI scans of the spine revealed extensive damage to the cervical and dorsal regions, resulting in profound weakness in all four limbs.

The singer continues to be on ventilator support, the report added.

Rajvir Jawanda was involved in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh while riding a bike, which collided with stray animals, leaving him with severe head and spinal injuries.
