'He Went That Way' Movie Real Story and Know who Larry Lee Ranes was: The movie 'He Went That Way' is based on a true story, it is based on the 1987 book Luke Karamazov which is real life story of Larry Lee Ranes a serial killer from MI. 

The movie 'He Went That Way' is inspired by the real-life story of animal trainer Dave Pitts and the serial killer Larry Lee Ranes. In the 1960s, Pitts was the only survivor of Ranes’ 1964 killing spree. The film follows Jim Goodwin, an animal trainer accompanied by his pet chimpanzee, who picks up a hitchhiker later revealed to be a serial killer.

 The film is based on the American Crime Drama film directed by Jeffrey Darling in his directorial debut. It is based on an account where the serial killer Larry Ranes encountered animal trainer Dave Pitts.

If we talk about the film, 'He went the way' it was announced on June 2, 2021, at the virtual Marché du Film and was released on January 5. The film was produced by Head Gear Films, Teashop Productions, and Mister Smith Entertainment. It was the directorial debut of Jeffrey Darling who died in an accident in North Palm Beach in Sydney. Filming took place in Los Angeles, California. 'He Went the Way' was released under the banners of Vertical Entertainment in the United States on January 5, 2024.
