Navjot Singh Sidhu has returned to “The Kapil Sharma Show”, a move that has ignited buzz across the entertainment world, indicating he is commanding a fee of up to INR 40 lakh per episode. Sidhu’s comeback is part of the fourth season of the flagship comedy-talk show, which premiered on Netflix on December 20, 2025.
The premiere episode generated wide interest, with global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas flying in from Hollywood to feature as a special guest, adding an international sparkle to the show’s launch.
Known for his signature “Thoko Taali!” catchphrase, Sidhu resumes his iconic special-guest chair alongside long-time co-panellist Archana Puran Singh after a notable absence. His return in Season 3 had already been a viewer favourite; Sidhu appeared in 11 of the 14 episodes. His per-episode fee ranged between INR 30 lakh and INR 40 lakh, resulting in estimated earnings of INR 3.3 crore to INR 4.4 crore for that season.
Kapil Sharma, the show’s host, playfully acknowledged Sidhu’s remuneration on-air, jokingly thanking Netflix for increasing the budget so they could “afford Sidhu paaji”, drawing laughter from the studio audience.
Season 4 introduces a fresh “Mastiverse” vibe with new character arcs, including Kapil’s new persona Raja, while other members such as Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda and Krushna Abhishek return to deliver their trademark humour.
