FIR stated that "not a single action has been taken by the cyber cell to remove that morphed video from social portals."

Anjali Arora Morphed MMS Video Case Latest News: In a major development, social media influencer Anjali Arora's fake MMS video is under investigation. It has also been reported that she will soon be filing a defamation case against multiple publishing houses, and YouTube influencers, who allegedly "tarnished her reputation on social media." 

In an FIR filed on behalf of Anjali Arora over the case related to her fake MMS video, it has been stated that the complainant was a social influencer and participated in a reality TV show, and when the applicant was participating in the TV reality show namely 'Lock Up', her family member noticed that one morphed porn video was circulating on social media in which applicant's face was morphed with one naked girl, who was indulged in sexual acts.

Likewise, the FIR is annexed with the pen drive containing the morphed MMS video of Anjali Arora. The FIR also stated that the family members, friends, and relatives were sending the morphed video to the complainant and were asking a lot of questions regarding the same. When Anjali Arora's MMS leaked, the complainant was participating in the reality show. The FIR further stated that Anjali was not able to take legal action, as she was in the reality show, against that morphed video which was circulating on social media.

It added that "Due to that morphed video, the complainant was not able to get work, as her reputation was tarnished and that she was in a mental stress and trauma. All media houses were cornering her and preventing the complainant from giving work. Many reputed social media websites, newspapers, and big magazines were publishing articles on the applicant's morphed video which was very distressful for the applicant's reputation as a woman. The complainant was not able to make eye contact with her family and friends due to that morphed video. All the articles, which were published, by reputed publication houses have also been annexed here."

Furthermore, it stated that "not a single action has been taken by the cyber cell to remove that morphed video from social portals. Since the last few months, the complainant has been regularly seeing explicit and obscene material on her Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Instagram. Such videos are in the public domain and damage and devastating the image. The complainant is traumatized by receiving these videos and requests your good self to kindly take proper and prompt action against these unknown persons as her reputation, as well as the reputation of her family, was in danger." 

"If no action is taken against these unknown users, that would cause irreparable damage. We had a word with the cyber cell officer to pursue legal action on the complainant's previous complaint, which was filed by the complainant's friend's name. He advised us to file a fresh complaint by complainant only. So, here I am giving you a fresh complaint again. It is, therefore, most respectfully requested to register FIR against the accused persons and remove morphed video from online portals like Google, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Telegram, etc," the FIR further stated.
