The singer added that he is willing to provide land for the construction of shelters and for all initiatives.

Bollywood singer Mika Singh has appealed to the Supreme Court of India, requesting the top court to refrain from taking any action that may adversely affect the welfare of dogs.

In a statement issued on his X handle on Sunday (11 January 2026), Mika said that he is willing to donate 10 acres of land for dogs and sought support from the apex court in terms of manpower and caretakers.

“I respectfully submit that I have sufficient land at my disposal and am fully prepared to donate 10 acres of land exclusively for the care, shelter, and welfare of dogs. My only request is support in terms of proper manpower and caretakers who can responsibly look after these animals.”

The singer added that he is willing to provide land for the construction of shelters and for all initiatives aimed at ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of dogs.
