Reports indicate that the threat call came from a man named Faizan, a resident of Raipur, Chhattisgarh. In response, a team from Mumbai Police has traveled to Raipur for further investigation. The incident was reported to the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai, where an FIR has been registered under sections 308(4) and 351(3)(4) of the Indian Penal Code.

This is not the first time Shah Rukh has faced such threats. Following the immense success of 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan' in 2023, the actor revealed receiving similar threats and was subsequently assigned Y+ security. Recently, he reportedly took extra precautions on his birthday, choosing to remain indoors at his residence, Mannat, due to safety concerns, although his team did not confirm this.
