Shah Rukh Khan turns 60 today.
Filmmaker Karan Johar, on the birthday of megastar Shah Rukh Khan, penned a deeply emotional note, highlighting their decades-old bond and the close relationship SRK now shares with Karan’s family.
Sharing a reel filled with cherished memories on Instagram, Karan captioned it, “I have such a vivid and distinct memory of meeting you Bhai, on the sets of Karan Arjun… I went expecting the aura and magic of a rising superstar but instead met a magical man with a beating heart…”
He continued, “Probably the best husband, best father, best son-in-law, best brother and the best friend anyone can have! Your consistent kindness and generosity of spirit is just as iconic as your wide open arms (which should be officialised as a national gesture),” Karan wrote.
Karan further expressed, “Bhai… the repertoire of cinema and projection of love that you have given to zillions of your fans across the globe makes you so much more than a mega movie star…it makes you an emotion…an emotion some of us are privileged to experience every day! I love you so much Bhai… thank you for being there through thick and thin and being family to Yash, Roohi, Mom and I…Always and forever.”
He concluded his post with, “Happy Birthday!!! This decade, like every decade, will be yours,” Karan added.

Meanwhile, much to the delight of fans across the globe, the megastar has revealed the title of his upcoming film “King” along with a teaser. The film is set to release in 2026.

As the teaser begins, SRK’s voice can be heard saying, "Kitne khoon kiye, yaad nahi. Woh achche log the ya burey, kabhi pucha nahi. Bas unki aankho me yeh ehsaas dekha ki yeh unki aakhri saans hai. Aur mai uski wajah (I don't remember how many murders I committed. Whether they were good people or bad, I never asked. I only saw this realization in their eyes: that this was their last breath. And I was the reason for it)."
