MUMBAI: The Entertainment industry was left in shock on Wednesday as the news of the tragic demise of famous art director Nitin Desai surfaced. Nitin, who was known for his exceptional work in designing sets for iconic films like 'Devdas,' 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo,' and 'Jodha Akbar,' was found hanging in his studio in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. He was 58 years old.

Local authorities immediately responded to the distressing incident after receiving information about Nitin Desai's untimely demise. The police took possession of his body as they began investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Maharashtra MLA Mahesh Baldi expressed concerns over the art director's financial struggles, speculating that it could have been a contributing factor to his tragic decision.

Nitin Desai's illustrious career in the entertainment industry commenced in 1987 with the television show 'Tamas,' where he worked tirelessly for 13 consecutive days and nights on the set. In a previous interview, he revealed his unwavering dedication to his craft, acknowledging that even a brief 15-minute break felt like wasting precious time during those intense shooting schedules.
