Rains lashed parts of Punjab and Haryana today causing a dip in the mercury. Mohali, Ropar, Panchkula, Ambala and Yamunanagar witnessed rainfall while Chandigarh and its surrounding areas was also lashed by showers

Chandigarh: Rains lashed parts of Punjab and Haryana today causing a dip in the mercury. Mohali, Ropar, Panchkula, Ambala and Yamunanagar witnessed rainfall while Chandigarh and its surrounding areas was also lashed by showers. Day temperatures dropped by a few notches after the rain. The maximum temperature had hovered between 41 and 44 degrees Celsius at most places in the two states yesterday. PTI
