Facebook page "ANKH" shared the viral picture and claimed that the Indian women's hockey team has defeated the Australian women's hockey team in Tokyo city of Japan.
Spokesman in its investigation found that the viral post is misleading. These pictures going viral are from Tokyo Olympics 2020 when Indian women's hockey team defeated Australia 1-0 in the quarter-final match.

We found these pictures shared in many old news. This picture was shared in the news of The Gaurdian dated August 2, 2021. While sharing the news the headline was given, "Hockeyroos’ quest to end Olympic medal drought spoiled by quarter-final defeat to India"
