Chess Prodigy Tejas Tiwari Achieves Unprecedented Feat, Inspiring the World with His Extraordinary Talent

UTTARAKHAND: In a remarkable display of determination and skill, Tejas Tiwari, a five and a half-year-old prodigy from Haldwani, Uttarakhand, has etched his name in the annals of chess history. Despite his tender age, Tejas has made a significant impact on the world of chess, earning recognition as the youngest chess player by the International Chess Federation (FIDE).

Currently studying in UKG at Dikshant School in Haldwani, Tejas Tiwari has created a stir in the chess community with his extraordinary talent. The International Chess Federation acknowledged his achievements by granting him the esteemed title of the world's youngest chess player in their latest rankings released in June. Securing the 1149th rank, Tejas has demonstrated his remarkable potential on the global chess stage.

Tejas Tiwari's recent achievement came at the Dheeraj Singh Raghuvanshi Open FIDE rated chess tournament held in Rudrapur. With four draws and two wins, he secured a FIDE rating, earning him widespread acclaim. It is noteworthy that Tejas has represented Uttarakhand in five national chess championships despite his tender age, showcasing his dedication and passion for the game.

Hailing from the Subhash Nagar area of Haldwani, Tejas comes from a supportive family background. His father, Sharad Tiwari, is a social worker and a former chess player himself. Tejas' mother, Indu Tiwari, is a homemaker who has also played a pivotal role in nurturing his passion for chess. Under the guidance of his father, Tejas honed his chess skills and developed an exceptional understanding of the game, proving that age is no barrier to pursuing one's passion and excelling in it.

Tejas Tiwari's incredible journey in the world of chess has earned him the well-deserved title of "Golden Boy." His prodigious talent and unwavering determination have garnered admiration and astonishment from chess enthusiasts and experts alike. Despite his young age, Tejas has demonstrated a level of maturity and skill beyond his years, leaving a lasting impression on the chess community.
