Mumbai's star Yashasvi Jaiswal has been ruled out of the upcoming Ranji Trophy semi-final match against Vidarbha due to an ankle injury. Jaiswal, who had participated in the first match of the second stage against Jammu and Kashmir alongside Rohit Sharma, was initially included in India's final squad for the Champions Trophy 2025. However, he has now been replaced by Varun Chakravarthy.

Jaiswal will travel to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru for further evaluation of his injury. Despite this setback, Mumbai remains confident with a strong lineup featuring Ajinkya Rahane, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, and Shardul Thakur.
