CHENNAI: In a concerning turn of events for Team India, their star batsman Shubman Gill's health has taken a hit just before the highly anticipated ODI World Cup opener against Australia. Gill's current health condition has raised apprehensions about his participation and performance in the crucial match scheduled for Sunday. If Gill is unable to play, it is likely that Ishan Kishan may be given the opportunity to open the innings.

Shubman Gill, one of India's most successful batsmen in ODI cricket, has reportedly been battling high fever in recent days.
